Title of Post: Senior Technician/Technician

Functions and Accountabilities


to do maintenance on aircraft in accordance with business guidelines
Assignment of Senior Technician / Technician Work
Ascertain that the team maintains all of its toolkits in accordance with corporate guidelines.
Ensure that, in accordance with corporate policy, all tools and materials taken by the technicians working under him are properly returned to the store at the end of the shift.
In order to maintain high standards for cabin maintenance, collaborate with other departments including ground services, logistics, and cabin look.
After task 7 is finished, make sure the work space is clear of tools and debris.Make sure the inbound shift is properly handed over.

Qualifications in Education and Experience

Minimum standards for education


A DGCA-approved institution must have awarded 10+2 (PCM) or equivalent ab-initio AME training. The applicant must also possess a DGCA (I) AME license with type rating or company authorization on two or more company aircraft categories.

Four years of practical experience performing cabin maintenance on transport-class aircraft for a regular airline


Three years on the Wide Body (B777 & B787) or Narrow Body (A320 Family)

Position Title: Foreman

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Monitor & assist Shift In-charge for all Maintenance activities within the shift.
  2. Manage manpower & duty of allocation of staff within the shift.
  3. Coordinate with various department like, stores, MCC, GSD, Cabin etc. to ensure On-Time departure of Aircraft.
  4. Shall assist Shift in-charge to perform audit of personnel toolboxes, and highlight any discrepancies observed.
  5.  Coordinate for Aircraft Movement via towing/ taxing within the shift.
  6. To guide/ Impart Necessary training to staff within his shift on proper usage of Tools/ equipment’s.
  7. Ensure office is maintained as per company standards.
  8. Ensure proper Shift handover is maintained during shift change.
  9. Assist Certifying staff in accomplishment of daily Maintenance tasks.
  10. Any other responsibility as assigned by AME/Shift In charge/Dy. LMM/ LMM

Position Title: Sr. Engineer
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all work performed in connection with maintenance or overhaul as stated above are in accordance with the requirements/recommendations of the manufacturer and/or Regulatory Requirements while carrying out maintenance work
  • Ensure all work sheets, inspection schedules and maintenance records pertaining to the work are properly completed, certified, and preserved in accordance with the civil airworthiness requirements
  • Ensure that all the delay reports and occurrence reports are prepared timely
  • Only AMEs or specially authorized persons will make Technical Log entries and sign the same as prescribed in the Regulatory Requirements
  • Ensure that defects observed during inspection and those reported by the flight crew during the flight are rectified in an approved manner. Major defects will also be brought to the notice of post holders through the repetitive LMMs/ SICs
  • Ensure that inspection and any other work done is carried out as per approved methods employing standard airworthiness practices and compliance of rules and regulations enforced by the DGCA
  • Ensure that tools and equipment used during maintenance are in serviceable condition and they are subjected to periodical inspection / calibration wherever applicable
  • Report defective shop equipment or tools for necessary rectification
  • Ensure that only approved materials and parts are used during all stages of the work
  • Ensure that while handling equipment, tools, and in carrying out servicing of aircraft or components, etc. safety procedures are followed
  • Keep up to date knowledge in respect of technical requirements and instructions issued from time to time by the Quality Department and Technical Services Department, the manufacturer of aircraft or components and Airworthiness authorities
  • Supervise the work being performed by the technicians or other technical staff and to ensure that standard Airworthiness procedures and requirements are observed by them
  • All AMEs/Approved persons shall exercise the privileges as per scope of license or approval subject to validity/Rating and Current Experience as stipulated in the relevant directives issued by the DGCA.
  • Ensure that all inter-change ability of components is confirmed through reference to the IPC applicability and or, other relevant approved documentation
  • Reporting all vehicle, ramp, and aircraft un-serviceability immediately to the Shift In charge
  • To carry out refueling of the Aircraft according to the laid down procedures and precautions
