Job Overview

The International Employment Compliance Adviser is a critical HR function at Queen Mary focusing on compliance management of employee immigration activities. The job is the principal point of contact for a variety of internal stakeholders and will give authoritative advice (and training) on PBS and non-PBS work visa pathways and associated processes as an important component of the operational and recruitment team. As the UKVI “Key Contact,” you will be in charge of monitoring and reporting on UKVI-related compliance actions.

The Human Resources department is part of the University’s core Professional Services and supports and promotes the achievement of our students and faculty. The HR department, like other professional services departments, strives to provide value for money through efficiency, effectiveness, and quality.

  • The position is headquartered in London’s Whitechapel campus, in our new building Dept W. You will be able to work in a hybrid capacity. It is a full-time (35-hour-per-week) permanent position that will begin as soon as feasible. The beginning pay will be in the region of £38,655 – £45,479 per year, including London Allowance.
